Do Foot Detox Pads Work?

The arrival of foot detox pads from the Orient was embraced with open arms by some, and by biting skepticism from others. The web abounds with sites and blogs which extol the virtue of detox pads or label them an outright scam. So what's the official story?

We do sell foot detox pads, so you may think there's a natural bias. Point well taken. However, that's one side of the story. Here's the other:

There are manufacturers who produce the pads cheaply and without any regard for purity or effectiveness of content, and there are manufacturers who produce, research, and study the pads, subjecting them to various tests. We chose our manufacturer from this latter group.

We purchase our pads from Kenrico Ltd. in Japan, one of the largest and best acclaimed makers of detox patches in the world, because they religiously test and study their product, and they use only the purest distillation methods for processing their wood and bamboo vinegar ingredients. Periodically we get updates on clinical studies and research from Kenrico. The findings overwhelmingly show that:

Detox foot pads remove heavy metals

Toxic metal poisoning is becoming a grave threat to health and has been cited as a factor in sufferers of fibromyalgia and other auto-immune disorders. Toxic metals are found everywhere in our environment, in the air, water, foods and even certain medications and vaccines!

Our detox patches were tested in October 2004 on volunteer subjects who had been found to contain a high degree of heavy metal toxicity in their bodies. Findings were made by hair analysis testing. The main toxic metals shown to be drawn out into the patches were:

Each subject had been found to suffer from various forms of heavy metal poisoning, and each wore the detox patches for three months, and then were tested again. Here are the very impressive results of this study:
